Celebrity SFX Make-Up Artist, Tyler Green will be on hand for two incredible Halloween-themed attractions.

1. Zombie Mask Making (a STEM-certified art activity!)

This is THE best way to get a Halloween costume, by having your kids make it themselves in a STEM-approved activity! Create, decorate & wear high quality masks designed & manufactured by Tyler Green. Participants will mix their colors, paint and decorate their mask with custom elements provided by Tyler. Of course, adults are also encouraged to take part, since Halloween is for everyone!

NOTE: While everyone can view this on our big stage, in order to participate, an ADVANCE purchase of a zombie mask kit is required, because Tyler will only be traveling with the number of boxes pre-sold ! This is SEPERATE from your ticket purchase! Go to the ticket purchase link and add this on in addition to your ticket.

2. If that isn't enough Halloween, for those of you who love watching shows like Face Off, Tyler will be creating a real life zombie throughout the day. Watch as a model is turned into a zombie right before our eyes!

Trick or Treat Meet and Greet

For us geeks, all of October might as well be Halloween. So, on October 21st we are having THE best trick or treat opportunity for kids! We will be bringing in cosplayers to not just dress as your favorite heroes and princesses...but to actually BECOME them! Characters like Superman (as performed by CWeeksCosplay), The Central Virginia Batman and Catwoman, Captain Jaxx Parrow and many more to be announced will be handing out candy to trick or treaters, taking pics and meeting kids during the event! We LOVE Halloween and want to make this a special event for kids, so put on those costumes, bring a bag and fill it up with help from your favorite iconic characters!

Note: We will also have candy at vendor booths...so essentially this entire event is one big trick or treat area!

Cosplay Fashion Show

We are thrilled to present our second annual cosplay fashion show! This is not a competition where everyone gets shoved in a corner to be judged by random people. No, at Heroes Assemble we put individual cosplayers on stage with professional fashion designers and models!

This year we are featuring two casual cosplay designers.

2022 Her Universe Fashion Show Judges Choice Award Winner Cindy Guillermo Heselton

With 20 years of experience in the fashion industry, Cindy has worked closely with many celebrity clients and licensed properties, managing design teams for multiple brands. She is currently Technical Design Lead for men's streetwear brands Billionaire Boys Club and Ice Cream, and she will be releasing a collection in collaboration with Hot Topic and Marvel in the Summer of 2023. Her past client list includes an impressive range of talent, from Her Universe, Pharrell Williams, Usher, Mimi G., and Rami Kashou.

Cindy utilizes a unique artistic lens which integrates years of industry experience with various fashion brands, the urban acumen of growing up on the streets of Los Angeles, and raw inspiration from science fiction, fantasy, and anime. She blends her experiences and interests into a seamless pop aesthetic that is grounded in high fashion streetwear.

Design is more than just creating to her, it is about exploring the How and Why - the use of visual arts to strengthen communities, bring awareness, and merge fantasy with reality for a functional future.

The DreamHouse Collection by Bakerz Dozen Designz

Bakerz Dozen Designz (led by model Brianna-Lynn Baker) is crafting The DreamHouse Collection, a Barbie-inspired line that aims to show that you, like Barbie, can achieve anything you set your mind to (Barbie herself has had over 200 careers)!

Closing out our entire event will be individual cosplayers. There is NO judging here...our goal is to celebrate our community as the creative and talented people you are! There are NO limits on what qualifies. Whether you made it yourself, pieced it together from items in your closet, or had it specially crafted just for you...all it takes is the desire to get on our stage to show off! This is THE place to debut your new cosplays!
