Description
The Kentucky Society Daughters of the American Revolution kindly request your attendance on Saturday, September 16, 2017 for the first annual Heritage Preservation Symposium at the Bourbon County Courthouse in Paris, Kentucky.
It will be a day of commemorating Kentucky history, culture and art with tours of Duncan Tavern and the Bourbon County Courthouse on Saturday Morning, a boxed lunch at St Peters Episcopal Church (11:30-12:30) and an afternoon of nationally renowned speakers.
Additionally, there will be a Long Rifle Cocktail & Preview Party on Friday, September 15 at 6 pm at Duncan Tavern. Gain early access to the symposium's presenters and speak with them one-on-one about your favorite facet of Kentucky history.

Daniel Kurt Ackermann, Curator, Museum of Early Southern Decorative Arts, "Becoming Kentucky: Cultural Confluence in the Decorative Arts of Early Kentucky"
Estill Curtis Pennington, Art Historian "Kentucky: The Far West of the Old South in Romantic Art"
Ticket Options:
Morning tours will be free and open to the public.
Afternoon lectures are $50 per attendee, with the option to add lunch at St Peters Episcopal Church for $15.
Long Rifle Cocktail & Preview Party is $75 per attendee or $100 per couple, attendance is limited.
