Event description

Description

Did you know our home tour is Dallas' oldest and largest tour event? It's true, and it's happening again on October 19th and 20th! Heritage Oak Cliff will once again offer participants a chance to tour our picturesque Oak Cliff neighborhoods and visit places that may be new to them. Come see homes that showcase the character, culture and customs of Oak Cliff.

Tickets may be picked up at Ticket Central in the Bishop Arts District or at any of the homes.

Special thanks to our 2019 Home Tour Sponsors

Why is the Fall Home Tour so important in Oak Cliff?

The money you spend on the Fall Home Tour tickets goes directly back into the Oak Cliff Neighborhoods. Our home tour proceeds are reinvested into the community through Heritage Oak Cliff’s Neighborhood Grant Program. The Home Tour is made possible by countless volunteer hours, sponsors, advertisers and, of course, your tickets.

The grant program provides funds to member neighborhoods for projects that contribute to the overall quality of life in Oak Cliff. Grants can fund up to 60% of proposed projects that provide long-term benefit to the community. Over the last five years, the neighborhood grant program has invested over $148,000 back into Oak Cliff neighborhoods.

Last year, Heritage Oak Cliff introduced Community Building Grants to support efforts to build a sense of community in neighborhoods by funding social events like National Night Out.

Also, Heritage Oak Cliff introduced Acorn Grants to support neighborhoods building a community by organizing a neighborhood association. These grants support the neighborhood organizing effort by paying for printed materials, meeting refreshments, etc.
