Heritage Hill Garden Tour
About this event
A pleasant walk along streets graced with historic homes in search of wonderful gardens - what a perfect way to spend a summer Saturday in West Michigan!
Ten private gardens and two organizational gardens are on the 2022 Heritage Hill Garden Tour. Each is a unique reflection of the creative, nature-loving gardeners who tend them. From showy displays in front gardens bursting with color to hidden gems waiting behind a home to warmly welcome guests, the possibilities of what a garden can be will inspire you.
On this self-guided tour, some of the gardens you will find include:
Gerald Ford’s boyhood back yard, a wonderland over 40 years in the making. This serene and elegant setting includes an outdoor kitchen amidst an artfully designed garden that makes wise use of every space and a front garden that catches the eye of everyone who passes by.
A free-flowing flower garden on Prospect Ave. that has new color for every season
Fountains galore on College Ave.
A sweet little garden nestled on Paris Ave.
A garden with an amazing water feature on Morris Ave.
The Victorian garden at the historic Voigt House.
The formal garden at Frank Lloyd Wright’s Meyer May House.
