HerHealing Community: Healing Through Florals

Welcome to HerHealing Community!

HerHealing Community is a non-profit 501 (c)(3) that provides monthly healing sessions to women of color consisting of alternative and holistic healing approaches specific to mental, physical, and spiritual healing. HerHealing Community's mission is to create safe spaces for women of color to explore various healing modalities and find the methods that best fit each person on their individual journey. HerHealing Community connects you with various healers and experiential classes that allow you to benefit from a range of physical, emotional, or spiritual healing at a low fee. Our hope is for our community to continue working with the session leaders that resonate with you as you begin to incorporate these healing practices into your daily life.

Healing Through Florals Healing Session

Join us Saturday, August 6th, 2022 From 11am to 12 pm as Shawn Bolton of Modern Society Vintage leads us in this Healing Through Florals Healing Session. This healing session will be centered around exploring the healing properties of flowers, ways to use them in our everyday life, and how we can create something both beautiful and regenerative for ourselves. This session will give us the opportunity to connect with community and incorporate florals and nature into our self-care routines based on our individual needs by creating our very own healing bouquet.

Meet Shawn Bolton of Modern Society Vintage!

Shawn Bolton's career background and skills include grant writing and procurement, project development, staff development, youth education, homeless services, workforce development, health and wellness, and fiscal management. Much of her work utilizes empathy and understanding to move toward racial equity. Shawn Bolton also serves her community by being the founder of Modern Society Vintage where she heals others through florals and beautiful healing bouquets. Shawn Bolton is excited to guide us in creating our very own healing bouquet!
