Supported by the Better Neighborhoods, Same Neighbors Initiative, we envision an East Oakland with healthy surroundings, safe and accessible transportation and thriving arts and culture that builds community wealth and ensures housing is a human right for existing East Oakland residents, because we are #here2stay!

Join us for an info session and discussion, followed by solutions cafe on housing and a community meal!

Give feedback on your housing journey - challenges, successes, needs, and goals

Receive one-on-one support for your housing situation from local organizations

Key Details: Sunday, Dec 11, 2-5 pm at the Better Neighborhoods, Same Neighbors Resource Center (9400 Unit C, International Blvd)

This will be a hybrid online (Zoom) and in-person event. For COVID safety, in person attendance will be limited to 20 guests who must show negative PCR or Rapid Anti-gen test no more than 48 hours old and wear a mask. 

Spanish translation will be available.

Funded by a $28.2 million Transformative Climate Communities (TCC) grant from the California Strategic Growth Council, the Better Neighborhoods, Same Neighbors Initiative brings together the City of Oakland, multiple community organizations, residents and business owners to implement five projects across four transformative elements in a five-square-mile area in deep East Oakland.
