HERA Fest 2019, an all-ages, female-fueled music festival showcasing women in music from DC and beyond, will be held at City Winery DC on Sunday, Sept 22nd. With over 35 female-fronted acts (including headliner, Jill Sobule), multiple local vendors and awesome musical-themed activities, HERA Fest 2019 will have something for everyone! Proceeds will benefit ProjectHERA, a DC-based, 501c(3) nonprofit organization that provides opportunities for women of all ages to connect and support each other, throughout the local music scene. A special emphasis is placed on the younger generation, providing performance opportunities that will inspire them to chase their musical dreams! ProjectHERA, shows girls that there are no limits to what they can play or do and teaches the importance of listening to and supporting each other, while providing a creative outlet.
