In light of concerns surrounding the Coronavirus (COVID-19), we are postponing The HER Women in Business Luncheon event to Thursday, Oct. 8 at the same time 11:30-2:30 and at the same location, Hotel Kirkwood. We are looking forward to your continued support.
Join us on Thursday, Oct. 8, 2020 at The Hotel Kirkwood Center, Cedar Rapids, Iowa
Keynote Speaker, Jennifer Zach, Executive Career Coach and Producer of the Leader Insight Podcast will speak on “THE POWER OF BRAVE AND COURAGEOUS LEADERSHIP.”
LUNCHEON KEYNOTE: Fear can attempt to be a driver, constant companion and barrier between you and your best self. Fear has no power over every day acts of courage, for it is by way of these unsung deeds that the most valuable and important things come to us in life.
At the Next HER Luncheon, we will discuss the power of small acts of courage in the workplace, and the importance they play in shaping the business environment and influencing others to be courageous.
PANEL DISCUSSION: Following the keynote address there will be a panel discussion featuring five successful local business leaders from the Corridor. Moderator, Meegan Hofmeister, Founder of The Dostal House. Panelists include; Gale Mote. Team Coach, Trainer and Consultant, Gale Mote Associates, Lynn Manternach, PHD, Brand Arsonist & President, MindFire Communications, Julie Hein, CEO, KZIA, Inc. Kimberley Lehrman, CEO, Communications Engineering Company (CEC) and Michelle Niermann, President & CEO Unity Point.
WORKSHOP: The workshop that follows the keynote address and panel discussion will get participants started on a path to engaging in daily acts of courage. Participants will identify where they need to be more courageous, whether that is in the work place or in your personal life. We will examine what is getting in the way and what actions to take, to overcome the obstacles that stand between you and your best self.
NETWORKING: Join us in the Atrium at the Hotel Kirkwood for Networking and Registration. 10:30-11:30 a.m.
LUNCHEON AND PANEL DISCUSSION: 11:30- 1:15. Tickets are $37.50.
LEARN WORKSHOP: 1:30-2:15. $52.50 includes the luncheon, keynote and panel discussion.
