Description

Spend a day learning and networking with your HER Realtors family at the 2017 Company Convention. Our theme is "Together, We Make a Difference! Together, We Are . . . HER!" Cost is $20.00 per person and includes breakfast, lunch, and snacks.

The day will kick off with the keynote address by Katie Lance, social media consultant. Katie is the CEO and Owner of Katie Lance Consulting and founder of the #GetSocialSmart Academy. With more than fifteen years of marketing and branding experience, Katie specializes in working with companies to help develop and implement their social media and content strategy. Katie's talk will be "Get Social Smart" and focuses on how you can intentionally use social media to build better relationships with your clients (past, present and future), how you can cut through the noise of social media, manage the time suck that social media can be, maximize Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram and emerging platforms like Snapchat and live video, and use a content grid to jump-start your strategy.

All agents will also have the ability to hear Ashton Gustafson speak on "Making Music in a Noisy World." It’s easy for a real estate professional to get lost in the commotion of an industry constantly inundated with new technologies, new ways to communicate and new ways to interact. In "Making Music in a Noisy World," Ashton helps you shape your mindset for the modern marketplace.

During breaks, be sure to visit the vendor tables for information, tips, and giveaways!

After lunch, there will be four afternoon break-out sessions. You will choose two of these sessions to attend:

Chandra Hall: "Systems to Keep You Sane" If you are ending your day with the same to-do list you started with, you need a system to keep you on track. Checklists are designed to make accomplishing your tasks easier, but often we find ourselves tending to every “fire” that pops up during the day and the items on our list remain undone. If this sounds like you, chances are you’re missing the key systems which will keep you on track and headed toward your goals. Realtors® often get distracted throughout the day; client calls, unexpected issues and other “urgent” matters draw attention away from their daily plan. This seminar shares concrete ways to systemize the most important aspects which affect productivity and profit: business of the business, working with buyers and sellers and marketing systems.

Maura Neill "Apps for Real Estate" You CAN conduct business with the same degree of efficiency and productivity while you are out on the road – you just need the right tools in your toolshed! This class explores 50+ mobile apps for your Smartphone and Tablet that can help you rethink the concept of your office and get you out from behind your desk, closing more deals and being more effective for your clients! From social media to productivity, finance to travel –when they say “there’s an app for that,” it’s really true. There’s an app for every aspect of your business!

Ashton Gustafson "Time Management and Lead Generation" Ashton started his career with 0 sales in his first six months...and then something changed. This session will take you through the journey, decisions, attitude, and daily accountability that leads Ashton towards handling over 100 sides each year individually and guiding his team to over 400. Topics covered include: daily planning and prepping, time accountability, scheduling, lead generation, and establishing boundaries for both work and personal life.

Joey Rahimi: "Website Strategy: A Website Your Consumers Will Love and Will Drive $ To You" A real estate website serves two purposes: To give consumers relevant information about buying or selling a home (including properties for sale) and to be a marketing opportunity for the agent or brokerage. In this session, you will learn how to create and maintain a website that will attract consumers looking for real estate information and help drive business to you. Topics include: usability, design and branding, content creation, search engine optimization, and analytics. You'll leave the session with concrete suggestions for improving your website and tracking your results.

Everyone will have the chance to attend two breakout sessions. All breakout sessions are pending approval for one hour of elective continuing education credit each by the state of Ohio. The keynote address is pending approval for 1 1/2 hours elective continuing education. Please indicate on your registration which sessions you plan to attend. Cost is $20.00 and includes breakfast and lunch.
