This lecture series will instruct providers how to test and treat Hepatitis C as part of the brand new "Hep C Free LA" initiative. The Louisiana Department of Health has launched a first-of-its-kind elimination strategy to fight one of the largest public health issues the nation faces. During the course of this conference participants will learn about the sweeping changes in the care of people living with HCV, the current epidemiological trends of HCV and screening recommendations, the methodology for non-invasive liver assessment, and about the state’s preferred drug for treatment. Providers who attend will be fully prepared to start caring for people living with HCV with our expertly assembled streamlined test and treat algorithm.
CME credits will be available for all participants.
