Fundraiser Luncheon and Silent Auction
Speaker: Mary Tedesco, Co Host of Genealogy Roadshow (PBS)
Topic: Women and Minorities in the Revolutionary War
Minorities and women played important roles in the American Revolution. This luncheon presentation will explore their impact and fascinating history.
Join us for a lovely afternoon at the beautiful Colony Hotel in Palm Beach. Light hors d'oeuvres and champagne will be served while you peruse through carefully selected offerings at the silent auction, including spa and restaurant gift certificates in the Palm Beach County area. Be sure to get in on the raffles of Mink Teddy Bears; a portion of the proceeds of this event will go to support the first ever HMF-NSDAR/Honor Flight partnership; allowing our WWII and Korean War veterans the chance to spend a day at the memorials in Washington, DC in April 2017. Enjoy all of this and more while you dine on a fabulous lunch in the exquisite ballroom while listening to the engaging Mary Tedesco take us back in time to the American Revolution.
