Henry Clay: Kentucky's Great Statesman

Henry Clay, known as Kentucky's Great Statesman, will be appearing on Sunday, November 18, in the KentuckyShow! Theater to share with audience members some of his tales and memories from great debates, compromises and struggles facing the nation as it came to grips with the issue of slavery and the cloud of the Civil War. (Mr. Clay is portrayed by George McGee).
The afternoon's event also includes a viewing of the critically-acclaimed, KentuckyShow!, a 30-minute multimedia production, narrated by Ashley Judd, featuring the people, places and spirit of Kentucky.
The event begins promptly at 2:00 pm in the KentuckyShow! Theater, located in the Kentucky Center for the Performing Arts, 501 West Main Street, Louisville, KY, 40202. The program will conclude at 3:30.
Cost: $7 ($6 for Filson Historical Society members)
Appropriate for all ages. Street parking available (free on Sundays) or in the Kentucky Center garage.
