Welcome to the Hofstra University Museum Slow Art Day event page. The exhibition that will be on view for Slow Art Day is We Hold These Truths..., which will include works of art by American artists who were influenced by issues such as slavery, middle passage, the abolition movement and emancipation. This exhibition is in commemoration of the 150th anniversary of the Emancipation Proclamation.
