Event description

Description

Elizabeth Kemble, founder of Travellati Tours, will give a free illustrated talk on "Hemingway's Paris." Liz will share the places that Hemingway frequented in Paris, such as La Closerie des Lilas, the café where he wrote his masterpiece, The Sun Also Rises, in a coffee fueled six-week sprint; as well as the famous people he associated with, such as Gertrude Stein and F. Scott Fitzgerald; and the painters that he says influenced his prose style (hint: Cézanne).

Liz is the founder of Travellati Tours, providing themed, immersive, interactive travel tours for the cultural voyager; and the designer of the tour Papa's Paris, a one-week stroll through the moveable feast that is Paris; details available at http://www.travellati.com/paris/.
