If not, now is the time to treat yourself to the latest tasty black foods and beverage trends.

⚫ What Is Black Food?

Black food is not just artificially colored regular food…

Think about it, the finest black coffee, decadent dark chocolates, lushes black berries, and sweet and sour balsamic vinegar are just some of the more common black foods you are already familiar with. But have you ever tried black bread, black garlic, black corn, or black drinks?

Indulge in a new and unique culinary dimension.

Who is going to be the winner of the Black Food of The Year and Black Drink of The Year Awards?

Jury Members will be: the Finnish TV chef, restaurant owner Akseli Herlevi, Stefano Petri (Slow Food Helsinki), Jella Bertell (Vaimomatskuu blog), Erkki Häme (Pien Shop & Bar), Kiss Mariann (Private chef, New York City, Hungary).

Host of the event will be: Anikó Lehtinen journalist, teacher at Laurea and restaurant-lover.

Our event is child-friendly, you don't have to buy ticket under the age 12.

We recommend to buy your ticket online in advance.

Advance ticket price: 12 EUR

Feri's - Sausages and Beer Shop: 11 EUR

Ticket price at the door: 15 EUR

Ticket includes:

  • Enter to the Festival
  • Program of Black Food of the Year Competition
  • Extra Program after 9 PM (see bellow)

You need to pay for the food and the drink at the exhibitor's stand, but some free tasting will be provided by the exhibitors.
