Helping Your Children and Teens Discover Their Purpose in Life
Event Information
About this Event
What do you want out of your life? What do you hope to accomplish? How will you leave your mark?
These are big questions, especially for children and teens. But they’re important ones to explore since a growing body of research finds that young people with purpose are poised to thrive.
And how can we, as parents, help our kids discover what gives their lives meaning?
Drawing on nearly two decades of scientific research, this live (virtual) event will explore: What is purpose? Why does it matter? And, how can we — as parents — help our children and teens discover their purpose in life?
Kendall Cotton Bronk, PhD, is a professor of psychology in the Division of Behavioral & Social Sciences, Claremont Graduate University, and principal investigator at the Adolescent Moral Development Lab (CGU).
NOTE: You will be emailed a Zoom link on the day of the event (Thursday, February 11). Look for subject line "ZOOM LINK - Purpose in Life"
