Family and Friends,
Karen “Neale” Absher was diagnosed with breast cancer September 8, 2015. Karen is a person who helps all in their time of need. Whether it’s family, church, friends or the community, Karen is always willing to give a helping hand and go the extra mile. Since being diagnosed, the costs of the numerous tests, co-payments, doctors’ appointments, travel to and from Georgetown University Hospital and the day to day expenses of maintaining a healthy lifestyle and diet to combat cancer, things have become overwhelming financially. I know you all know the “SMILE” Karen always has on her face as it lights up everywhere she goes. She is maintaining good spirits and that smile is still as bright as ever.
It is hard for us to release the pride that we have to get to this point of asking all our family and friends to come together to benefit Karen and our family. It is in God’s teachings that we have to humble ourselves and ask, because without asking, no one knows. I am positive that Karen has touched us all in one way or another, now it is time for us to reach out and touch Karen as she “Fights Like a Girl” and battles. We know in our hearts that “God’s Got This!” and we know for sure there will be a powerful testimony to verify the power of God’s Healing Hands, His Will and His Grace.
Please support one of God’s children who is going through the storm, but continues to dance in the rain; and ready to receive God’s blessings at the end of the storm because this too shall pass and no weapon formed against us shall prosper. To God Be the Glory!
God Bless you all,
The Absher Family
Billy, Karen, Nico and Sarah
