‘Helping Children/Young People Cope With Anxiety and Build Resilience’

This is a 90 minute session (that can be extended for more discussion) to support parents/carers/educators and provide strategies and techniques to help manage anxiety. There will also be opportunities to ask questions and meet other parents/carers. Our Primary Mental Health Workers will share valuable strategies that you can implement in your daily interactions with children.

Areas covered include:

· What is anxiety and where does it come from?

· How does anxiety impact on our children/young people?

· Having important conversations

· Strategies to develop understanding and build resilience
