HELPING CHILDREN WITH THEIR EMOTIONS
Dealing with children’s emotions can prove to be difficult at times or even all the time.
Whether it’s behavioural or emotional feelings, every child is different and one solution does not work for all. We all know that we need to express our feelings and emotions at times but how can we understand our kids and connect with them and help them to deal with their emotions?
Fortunately there is a natural alternative solution that will assist you and your family.
Come and join us for a morning of learning with Oriana from Live The Organic Life where we will show you how essential oils can be used as a natural solution to assist our children and ourselves with emotions and general health and wellbeing. They are cost effective and a natural solution for the whole family.
Linda from Books for Young Minds will also be there with a fantastic selection of children’s books focused on helping children with their emotions. If you want another tool in your parenting toolkit, to help your child through a difficult time, picture books are a terrific resource. Written at your child’s level of understanding, they can help you tackle the challenge. The picture books cover emotions such as anger, sadness, grief/loss, disappointment, fear, anxiety/worry and other books on self-control.
Venue: Dome Cafe - Maylands, 219-221 Railway Parade, Maylands. Opposite Maylands train station.
You will receive some calming sparkle dough for your child containing essential oils. The calming sparkle dough provides proprioceptive input (deep pressure), and the essential oils are warmed in your hands creating a lovely fragrance that helps calm your child.
