Event description

Description

“I want you to be everything that is you, deep in the center of your being.” Confucius

Ahhh, this is what every parent and teacher wants for our children. How do we assist in this actualization? This parent evening will delve into the foundations of self esteem, emotional literacy and navigating relationships. What we know: Information and knowledge can be learned, but esteem and connecting with others benefit from direction and opportunity. You will learn how to direct and provide opportunity to facilitate this important area of human development. Come, come! You’ll leave empowered and inspired!

Amy Kelton is Head of Upper Elementary programs at Shelton School and Evaluation Center in Dallas, TX. She is certified in Sequential English Education and the Association Method programs for the remediation of written language disorders, as well as advanced levels of Montessori Applied to Children at Risk. Amy has worked with children with learning differences, within the Montessori structure, for 23 years.
