About this Event

We love to host and support the emerging design + tech ecosystem in Atlanta by hosting face-to-face meetings and interesting conversation. The Helpfully Lunch is informal — we share stories, experiences, insights, and recommendations. And you'll be joined by a diverse set of people who work in digital products, strategy, research, ux, or creative fields. And we're always looking to grow the community. So come on over!

March Theme: Decision Fatigue & Other Behavioral Econ Tricks

Since there are so many brands and options from which to choose, consumers often experience decision fatigue. They are stuck trying to make a choice about what to buy but find themselves almost paralyzed. Some folks refer to this condition as the “paradox of choice.” It can be exhausting to make a decision.

Because there are so many options, how do you decide what to do? We’ll take a look at this problem and how to best determine what the consumer wants and needs. We’ll discuss some behavioral and economic ways to differentiate your brand by figuring out what products or services are the most important ones. Some questions to consider include “How can it be used in the lives of customers? Bring your examples about products and services you’re working on to discuss.

Details: The lunch is BYO-Lunch. We're at Industrious though, so we have free drinks 🥤and snacks 🍿and fruit 🍎🍌🍉🍒.

Take the elevators by West Elm to the 8th floor and you'll find us on the right.
