Helpfully Monthly Lunch - Learning from the past

About this Event

We love to host and support the emerging design + tech ecosystem in Atlanta by hosting face-to-face meetings and interesting conversation. The Helpfully Lunch is informal — we share stories, experiences, insights, and recommendations. And you'll be joined by a diverse set of people who work in digital products, strategy, research, ux, or creative fields. And we're always looking to grow the community. So come on over!

February Theme: Learning from the Past

Fifty years after the historic lunar landing on the moon, we can see the benefits of trial and error research and many scientific discoveries from the surface of the moon and other planets. Considered the greatest achievement in space exploration NASA has sent spacecraft out beyond Pluto, to the surface of Mars and to the sun. Researchers have discovered many things and expanded our knowledge of the solar system.

For February we’ll discuss what we can learn and apply to our daily jobs from the past. These include learning from significant events, projects completed in the past few years and other things that help you improve the way you do your job. What have you learned from the past UX or design work, customer projects or company research with clients? What worked best and why? Bring examples relevant to your work in 2020.

Details: The lunch is BYO-Lunch. We're at Industrious though, so we have free drinks 🥤and snacks 🍿and fruit 🍎🍌🍉🍒.

Take the elevators by West Elm to the 8th floor and you'll find us on the right.
