HELPER FATIGUE: Identification, Prevention and Resilience

St. Mary's Medical Center, Saccomanno Education Center

This valuable full-day workshop offers a spectrum of insights for understanding, recognizing and preventing compassion fatigue and burnout, while providing tools for building resilience.

Learn to become aware of recurring factors that lead to compassion fatigue, how to proactively support yourself and/or your staff, and considerations for enhancing or changing work environments.

The workshop will be led by two renowned presenters: Thomas J. Balistrieri, Ed.D, LMHC, mental health counselor and WPI professor from Massachusetts, and Sydney Elks, LPC, professional counselor of children and adolescents at the Counseling & Education Center in Grand Junction.
