Help with Families Forward's Annual Community Resource Fair
Saturday, May 4, 2013 from 8:00 AM to 11:00 AM (PDT)
It's not too late to join us this Satuday - making the world a little better!
About Families Forward
Families Forward has been providing assistance to Irvine families in crisis for decades. Their services include long-term housing, career workshops and coaching, as well as food assistance (feeding an average of 445 families each month). Additionally, they work with other community service and development organizations to ensure that families get the help they need to get back on their feet.
The Annual Community Resource Fair
This event brings togther community service organizations from all over the OC. Here families in need (or those who may be helping them) can gather information and resources in one centralized location. Additionally, participating organizations offer many free services such as: health screenings, resources and consultations (career, legal, medical, financial and housing).
Help make the world a better place by helping Families Forward make the day a success!
We will be working behind the scenes, assisting with the logistics - things like:
- assisting agencies & attendees
- surveying attendees (evaluating the event), and
- clean up
DATE: Saturday, May 4th
TIME: Arrive by 8am, our shift ends at 11am (lunch after???)
LOCATION: Irvine Valley College

When & Where
Canvas - Irvine, CA
We are a church compriesed of kind-hearted creative types who have organized around the core beliefs that:
- Love is the name of the game
- Our main job is to make the world a better place
Consequently, we regularly find ways to experience beauty, hang out, eat well and serve our local community.
Our events and activities are open to anyone and everyone (regardless of religious perspective!) and unless specifically noted, are not religious events (no surprise prayer meetings, worship servcies, evangelistic crusades...).
