Are your students unable to find the content they’re looking for in your Blackboard course? Is your Grade Center groaning under the weight of columns from yesteryear that you can’t figure out how to get rid of? This workshop will tackle the issue of usability in your Blackboard course, so that you and your students can find what’s needed quickly and easily. Bring your thorniest course organization problems to discuss with a technologist so that we can help you get back on track and make your course the envy of your department.
By the end of this workshop, you will be able to:
- Delete old content, move items to new locations, and delete columns from and reorganize your grade center;
- Appropriately use menu items, folders and content areas to organize content in your course;
- Understand the course copy process, how it can create problems for course organization, and how to avoid these problems;
- Avoid common usability and accessibility pitfalls.
Please note that after registration, you will recieve a confimration email containing a link to an anonymous pre-workshop survey, which helps us tailor each workshop to the needs and skill-levels of the attendees. Please look for the link when you get your confirmation.
