The Family Partners of Morris & Sussex Counties in collaboration with NORWESCAP is hosting a FREE human trafficking awareness event:

“Hello My Name Is…”.

Human trafficking is a crime involving the exploitation of someone for the purposes of compelled labor or a commercial sex act through the use of force, fraud, or coercion.

Special Guests and Presentations:

  • Sussex County Prosecutor - Francis Koch
  • Keynote speaker - Deputy Attorney General Chair, NJ Human Trafficking Task Force Division of Criminal Justice - Annmarie Taggart
  • A Survivor Story presented by a speaker from the NJ Coalition Against Human Trafficking
  • "I Am" - 10 Session Curriculum Presentation by LAC Family Stabilization Clinician - Stephanie Barbarosh
  • Morris County Supervising Assistant Prosecutor - Sex Crimes/Child Endangerment Unit Meg Rodriguez

Our goal is to educate local families, individuals, and the community providers including educators and first responders about how to recognize and report potential trafficking, and provide connections to organizations and agencies that can provide support to those affected.

The event is FREE and open to the public.

Professional development hours and certificates of attendance will be available at the close of the event.

A light dinner will be provided.

To register please call Family Partners at (973) 940-3194.
