Hello Etsy- Hudson NY
Sunday, September 18, 2011 from 12:30 PM to 7:30 PM (EDT)
Hello Etsy: A Summit on Small Business and Sustainability is a hands-on gathering for small business owners who want to connect with their peers, learn the skills to find success and independence, and be part of the movement to build human-scale economies.
Etsy is thrilled to be hosting a DIY Summit in our Hudson location!
Join us for an afternoon of conversation and idea-building around the theme of building a sustainable community-based economy here in our region. This event is open to all, whether you run a small business or are just interested.
Some of the questions we’ll be working with
- What is a local living economy?
- How can we create a community-based economy where we live?
- What defines community? What are the strengths and weakness of our community?
- What is the relationship between community and economy?
