Description

8/17: Heather Maloney “Soil In The Sky” Album Release Tour,

+ Dravus House, Nels Andrews

HEATHER MALONEY: http://www.heathermaloney.com/home

"Lyrics that cut to the chase” – Huffington Post

“Utterly gorgeous – visceral.” Val Haller, New York Times

“Her not-so-secret weapon is that voice — pretty but not precious, fully able to launch into aural backflips but perhaps more affecting when intimately expressive.” – Boston Globe

with guest DRAVUS HOUSE

Dravus House is an alt-folk duo in Seattle consisting of Elena Loper and Cooper Stoulil in Seattle. In Dravus House’s music, Loper’s vocals, songwriting, and guitar playing weave together with Stoulil’s emotive electric guitar picking in the style of folk duos such as Gillian Welch/David Rawlings, The Weepies, and the Milk Carton Kids. According to sound engineer Johnny Bregar, “Loper’s unique melodic sensibility is reminiscent of Joni Mitchell and trans-Atlantic modality”.

Earlier this year, Dravus House release their debut album at the Fremont Abbey’s mainstage in Seattle.

Their album was premiered digitally by The Bluegrass Situation, an international music blog for alternative and roots music.

You can listen to the album on The Bluegrass Situation’ website: https://thebluegrasssituation.com/read/stream-dravus-house-dravus-house/
