Cardiovascular disease is the number one killer of women and men but it doesn’t have to be that way. By living a heart-healthy lifestyle over 80% of heart disease could be prevented.
To better address the needs of our patients we are currently signing up highly motivated men and women for a new cardiovascular disease prevention program consisting of six small-group classes over a six week period. Class size is limited to twelve or fewer to ensure personal attention and time for interactive discussion.
You'll gain a more comprehensive understanding of what causes cardiovascular disease and how you can help prevent it. Learning sessions and workbook topics include:
- The Lowdown on High Blood Pressure
- Clearing Up Confusion About Cholesterol
- Maintaining a Healthy Weight
- Eating Your Way to a Healthy Heart
- Adopting an Active Lifestyle
- What’s Stress Got to Do With It?
Series of six 1 hour presentations and interactive discussions with comprehensive workbook. The class dates are Thursdays from 6 pm to 7 pm for six consecutive weeks
- January 16
