Grab your girls and join us for HeartsUp, an uplifting evening of female friendship on Friday, September 6th from 6-8pm! Be inspired by women doing amazing things, and enjoy activities focused on giggles, gratitude and connection, hosted by Boise Weekly's Best Local Comedian, Megan Bryant. Appetizers and chocolate are included in the ticket price. Beer and wine will be available for purchase. Come as you are and be sure to bring your heart! Ages 13+.


We use an inclusive definition of "women" and "female" and welcome everyone.


When: Friday, September 6th from 6-8pm

Where: JUMP Room on the fifth floor

Cost: $15 online, $20 at the door, $9 for students

Megan Bryant is an improv trainer, comedian, commercial actor, an award-winning author of "Not My Plan; Sucking it in Until I Had to Push it Out," and host of the podcast, "I Hardly Know Her."

She's been a professional improviser since 2006, and has produced shows all over Boise and beyond, including Idaho Laugh Fest. She has been the recipient of the Idaho Business Review's "Accomplished Under 40" and "Women of the Year" recognitions, and was voted the Boise Weekly's 2019 "Best Local Comedian."

She serves as the VP of the Board of Directors for A New Beginning Adoption Agency.

What is JUMP?

JUMP – or Jack’s Urban Meeting Place – is a not-for-profit, interactive creative center and community gathering place in the heart of downtown Boise. Please go to jumpboise.org to learn more and join our newsletter so you are in the know on fun, spontaneous happenings at JUMP.

JUMP is a dynamic and innovative space and safety is our first priority. Please monitor your children and keep them safe at all times.


Personal Release Statement: I understand that the activities and services related to my participation may have an element of hazard or inherent danger and I take full responsibility for my actions and physical condition. I agree to release, indemnify and hold harmless JUMP and its directors, officers, contractors and employees from any liability loss, cost or expense (including, but not limited to, attorney’s fees, medical and ambulance costs) that I may incur while participating in the activities. JUMP will not tolerate any unlawful use of copyright material. Liability for such unauthorized use shall rest solely with the producer. The participant further agrees to hold harmless JUMP for damages arising out of such claims. I assume the liability of and agree to compensate JUMP for any damages other than normal wear and tear of the facility and equipment. When entering the JUMP premises, you are entering an area where photography, audio and video recording will occur. By entering these premises, you consent to all recording media and its release, publication, exhibition or reproduction to be used for any JUMP purpose. I further waive my rights to all claims in connection with any JUMP publication, regardless of its purpose. JUMP is not responsible for replacing lost, misplaced, stolen or damaged belongings and valuables; therefore, JUMP recommends that visitors bring only essential items to the facility.


What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?


You may bus, bike, drive, walk, skip, etc. Check Boise's bus schedule at www.valleyride.org. We love bikers and have beautiful bike racks to secure your ride. If you plan to drive, paid parking is available on the 3rd and 4th levels of the JUMP parking garage or in Simplot's below ground parking garage, both accessible from the Myrtle Street entrance located between 11th and 9th Streets. Please note, the below ground parking garage is only available after 4PM until 6AM on weekdays and all day on weekends. Credit/debit cards accepted only.


Do you have accommodations for people with disabilities?

Absolutely. We support the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and encourage participation by everyone. If you require special accommodations to participate in our programs or to use our facilities, please view the JUMP Building Map to locate accessible parking spaces or call 208.639.6610 for additional information.

What is the refund policy?

We depend on your enrollment for a successful class so please plan your schedule carefully. Classes which do not meet minimum enrollment are subject to cancellation. Refunds are issued in full if the class or program is cancelled, if you cancel at least seven days before the starting date of the class, or for documented medical reasons. Please email programs@jumpboise.org to request a refund.


What about cancelled classes?
