HeartSpeak – Anusara Yoga Intensive Retreat
This 3½-day intensive workshop is for any yogi or yogini who would like to delve deeper into their mindbody practice. We will explore the impact that feelings (emotions) may have on both your physical practice and your mindfulness practice, and consequently on your physical body and mental state. During the asana practices you will be asked to observe any bodily pain, stresses, imbalances, emotions and other sensations that may be imposing limitations. Then you will learn to use HeartSpeak to clear these blockages to restore balance and ease. Since emotional reactions are associated with irregular breathing patterns, we will also use pranayama to further identify unresolved issues that may be altering your breath. Then, during meditative practices you will make note of any recurring thoughts, worries or other distractions and again you will clear them using HeartSpeak. At the end of the course, you will feel noticeably lighter, freer, clearer and more balanced.
What is HeartSpeak?
HeartSpeak is a simple, non-invasive stress reduction process that releases unresolved emotions safely and effectively. Emotional stress can cause all kinds of symptoms – from physical pain to skin rashes to digestive disorders, etc. also behaviour issues, anxiety or depression, low self-esteem, self-sabotaging, and not reaching your full potential or specific goals. Who needs HeartSpeak? Anyone who wants to make changes in their life, anyone who knows that something is just ‘not right', and people that want to know themselves deeper.
During this course, you will be trained in the HeartSpeak process (the equivalent of HeartSpeak Level 1). You will come to know your Feeling Mind and how it works and when it is active. You will be taught how to apply the HeartSpeak process in your own life - off the mat as well. In addition, as part of this course, you will also learn how to perform accurate and reliable Muscle Response Testing. Upon completion of this course, you will be able to run HeartSpeak on yourself and on others.

Benita Wolfe Galvan is an internationally renowned Anusara® yoga teacher. With her 27 years as fitness teacher and 38 years studying nature based metaphysical teachings, she has dedicated thousands of hours to rigorous yogic study and training, her deep personal and contemplative practice and teaching Anusara yoga in her playful way.
