NEW - Updated with 2015 AHA Guidelines for CPR & ECC.
Heartsaver CPR/AED is for anyone with limited or no medical training who want to learn CPR. A course completion card is available to individuals who need one to meet job, regulatory or other requirements. This course combines instruction of basic CPR skills with practice in using an AED.
This class is ideal for coaches, scouting leaders, workplace first responders, non-medical home health care workers, and others.
Participants will learn how to perform CPR for an adult, child, and infant. They also learn how to use an AED, and how to help a choking person. Receive hands-on skills training, participate in a practice scenario, and performa skills evaluation.
Recieve a 2-year certification card from the American Heart Association (AHA) for successfully completing the class.
Classes are led by AHA-certified instructors who will provide guidance and coaching and help build confidence. The knowledge acquired from this class will prepare you to help respond to an emergency if the need arises.
***First Aid is not taught in the class***
