Heartsafe Community CPR Demonstration - Bethel University
Tue, March 28, 2017, 7:00 PM – 8:30 PM EDT
We'd like to familiarize attendees with related science to improve bystander CPR and with practical applications of hands-only CPR.
HEARTSafe Community CPR demonstration aims to teach the life-saving skill of Adult and Child Hands-Only CPR, Adult and Child AED use, and clearing mild airway obstructions for adults and children. Skills are taught in a dynamic group environment using the American Heart Association’s research-proven practice-while-watching technique, which provides students with the most hands-on CPR practice time possible.
This demonstration of HEARTSafe Community CPR will educate the general public in CPR without the formal in-depth instruction that a conventional CPR course provides. This demonstration will teach you the skills to potentially save a life. (Note: This demonstration does not offer a course completion card or certification and does not include general First Aid or Infant CPR/AED interventions.)
