Get a real-life view of what it looks like when people with disabilities are employed.

Hearts of Glass is a documentary which weaves the story of a cutting-edge farming enterprise with the personal journeys of several of its employees who have disabilities.

Innovation and inclusion create a fertile environment for people and plants to grow!

The film will be followed by panel discussion about employment for people with disabilities.

State leaders will be on hand to share their vision and how your child can access their agencies' programs to prepare them for employment.

Panelists:

  • Kristin Wright, Director, Special Education Division for the California Department of Education;

  • Joe Xavier, Director, California Department of Rehabilitation; and

  • Jennifer Tennican, Hearts of Glass filmmaker.
