Description

The Heart Of Texas Airshow takes place in Waco at the Texas State Technical College (TSTC) airport April 6-7, 2019. We are proud to headline the U.S. Air Force THUNDERBIRDS in their third performance in Waco and their only appearance in Central and North Texas in 2019! The NEVER, EVER BEFORE SEEN 1st time in Texas and 2nd in the nation U.S. Air Force F-35 Lightning II Demo Team in full exhibition of the capabilities of this 5th generation fighter along with a Heritage Flight. The USASOC Black Daggers Parchute Team will jump in our flag and conduct a combat jump and we have more military still signing on! Our civilian performer line up includes Wing Walking Greg & Ashley Shelton; Rob Holland- the Only pilot to achieve 7 time US National Aerobatic champion and 8 time US 4 minute freestyle champion; Trojan Phlyers Demo Team, Randy Ball's MiG17 jet demo, David Martin Aerobatics and many more on tap!

Exhibits, vendors, great food, kids activities and aircraft rides for the public in historic warbirds and helicopters are available. We have many ticket options for you. General Admission, Family Packs, Reserved Seating with Flight Line Seating or Chalet Seating, Photo Pit and Photo Tours. Pricing options for Ages 13+; Kids 7-12, Seniors 65+, Military with ID, College Student discounts. Children 6 and under are FREE (reserved seating options described below). PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU CHECK FOR THE CORRECT DATE, EITHER SATURDAY OR SUNDAY, WHEN YOU ARE PURCHASING RESERVED SEATING! Also, though General Admission does not include seating you must click on the seating map in order to show the discounts available.

FAMILY PACK: The one ticket provides you with general admission for 2 Adults (13+) and up to 3 kids!

Flight Line Seating

FLIGHT LINE SEATING UPGRADE: Includes Admission. Don't carry a chair around all day, be at the center of the action on the flight line where we will provide you with a folding chair and Reserved Seating! Children 3 and under do not require a ticket if they sit on your lap or in a stroller. If you bring a stroller please reserve an end aisle, front row or back row seat for yourself to allow for the additional space needed.

Chalet Seating

CHALET SEATING UPGRADE: Includes Admission. Watch the show at the center of the action with a VIP Experience providing you with under tent shade with tables/chairs for relaxing & eating plus Reserved Seating chairs in front of the tent on the flight line to watch the show. Complimentary drinks, lunch 11:30-2pm and in area toilets.

PHOTO PIT: For photographers at show center, raised access, bring your own chairs.

HOT Photo Tour

PHOTO TOURS: Our runway is uniquely positioned for spectacular sunrise and sunset shots! Sunrise Photo Tour- Saturday or Sunday at 6:45am at the 7th Street Entrance for guided photographer tour of aircraft. Tour starts promptly at 7am and ends at 8am. Includes general admission. No family or guests, all participants must have a ticket. Sunset Photo Tour- Saturday only unique opportunity to shoot aircraft at sunset. Talk about lighting! Sunrise Photo Tour/Photo Pit Combo - Do a sunrise tour and photo pit on the day of your choice. The ultimate for serious photographers!

All sales are final. This is a rain or shine event. No refunds.

FAQs

Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?

If you purchase Military with ID, Senior 65+ or College Discount tickets you will need to bring the appropriate ID with you to check in at the gates.

Children 6 and under are Free for admission. If you wish to choose reserved seating, please check the options if you wish to purchase a flight line seat for your child or chalet options under the specific ticket options.

What can I bring into the event?

Chairs, sunscreen, hats, small umbrellas. Leave pets, food and drink, coolers and weapons of all kinds at home. All items are subject to security search at the gates.

What's the refund policy?

This event is held rain or shine. There are no refunds.

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?

Please bring your printed ticket confirmation with you so that we can scan the code for quickest entry!

Is it ok if the name on my ticket or registration doesn't match the person who attends?

Please have the name on the ticket match the person with the exception of children. For Family Packs you purchase one ticket which will be good for 2 Adults and up to 3 children at the gate.

What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?

Please visit our website, HeartOfTexasAirshow.com for parking locations and directions to the TSTC Airport. The airport is northeast of downtown Waco off I-35. 90 minutes south of Dallas and 90 minutes north of Austin.
