Join us for a day-long conference focused on the latest developments in the treatment of heart failure at both St. Francis Hospital, The Heart Center® and Montefiore Medical Center.

This workshop is designed for cardiologists, cardiothoracic surgeons, internists, intensivists, nurses, physician assistants, physical therapists, and other medical professionals involved in the evaluation, diagnosis and/or management of patients with heart failure.


Educational Objectives

• Review appropriate and novel strategies to optimize pharmacologic treatments of heart failure

• Discuss how to utilize medical devices and surgical therapies in the care of heart failure patients

• Review how to incorporate structural heart devices into patients with heart failure

• Discuss LVAD therapy and innovations in pump design

• Review options for patients with advanced heart failure beyond LVAD/transplant

• Discuss cardiac transplant and the new allocation system
