H.E.A.R The Runway - Fashion Show
Wed 31 May 2017, 12:00 – 18:00 BST
H.E.A.R the Runway is the first national mainstream fashion runway show in the United Kingdom that deaf and hard of hearing individuals can participate in equally as make-up artists; fashion models; fashion designers and performers alongside hearing participants.
Impressive headliners already involved are as follows:-
Deaf Dance Choreographer Christopher Fonseca famed for his recent Smirnoff Ice advert "We are Open", will open the fashion show and lead a dance act on stage. The energy levels will be through the roof.
The stunning deaf model Georgia Jones will lead volunteer models, showcasing the latest fashion from talented deaf and hearing fashion designers.
Presenter for the afternoon is the loveable Wayne Barrow whose infectious charm and ability to communicate through BSL will be a total match for this event.
This event will be highly publicised and will deliver its objective of inspiring those who may have been ignored previously in the fashion world with real role models.
The sole beneficiary, National Deaf Children Society (NDCS) will gain from funds raised at the show.
