Event Details

1 in 13 Congolese women die in childbirth. Reported incidences of sexual violence are up by a factor of 7 in eastern Congo since last year. In Sudan, the Khartoum regime continues to attack civilians throughout the country, with genocide continuing in Darfur, South Kordofan and Blue Nile. Sudanese refugee women continue to face the threat of sexual violence and struggle to ensure their daughters get an education.
Do what they can't: bring their stories to Washington.
