Event description

Description

Hear Festival is a time to use the arts to erase the stigma of mental illness while also giving hope to those suffering from mental illness and to those people that love the ones who suffer.

We are excited to announce that Trey Pearson will be our headliner this year. He has performed all over the world and has recently appeared on such programs as "The View" and performed with OneRepublic! He is going to be an incredible performer, so don't miss out! He has a fantastic new album coming out and you can currently check out his debut solo single "Silver Horizon" wherever you can stream and listen to music.

As well as Trey Pearson, Hear Festival has a number of other fantastic musicians coming to play. stop.drop.rewind will be coming to play after recently finishing up a mini-tour that saw them perform at SXSW. The Tumbleweed Jumpers join us to play their unique blend of folk, rock, Americana, blues, and jazz. Lalo Cura comes to Hear Festival to play their Spanish rock. Letters From Earth brings the ethereal, female-fronted space rock to Hear Festival to tickle the ears of our patrons. Slow Orbit comes to Hear Festival for the second year, bringing their psychedelic funk to get the groove going in Centennial Park. And Dad Jokes brings back 1998 with their infectious ska sound.

Hear Festival is a family friendly event. And, to keep it affordable for our families, you can always bring your own food and drink to the event. This includes alcohol, but we will ask anyone who has over-consumed or is unruly to leave early. In all, though, we want people to come and have a good time and help fight stigma associated with mental illness.
