Healthy Little Cooks: Every Kid Can Cook Day 2017

Every Kid Can Cook Day will be taking place on Friday, May 5, 2017! This is a very special annual event and our largest cooking class of the year! The purpose of this day is to equip kids with healthy strategies and tools for healthy eating. On Every Kid Can Cook Day participants take 15 minutes out of their day to recreate a healthy recipe made with ingredients that accomodate food allergy concerns, highlights simplicity, and overcomes logistical barriers (food accessibility, cost, education, time, etc.). This day is uniquely crafted to support advocates and champions of children and to celebrate our efforts to license kids in becoming healthy food champions in the classroom. Partners in EKCC Day include teachers, parents, after-school program providers, community organizations, government and businesses. In 2017 thus far, we have over 5500 kids registered cook! Join us, we would love to cook with you!
