HealthHack Dublin in association with eHealthWeek
Saturday, June 22, 2013 at 9:00 AM - Sunday, June 23, 2013 at 3:00 PM (PDT)
Health Hack Dublin weekend brings together doctors, nurses, developers, designers, and other "geeks who love Healthcare" to create solutions to problems in the health space. Health hack events are ongoing and enjoy the support of prominent health care and technology leaders.
Healthcare Professionals will be encouraged to bring problems and ideas, and technologists, their skills. Developers may form teams in advance to address a problem that interests them, or they can be matched with an appropriate clinician on the day. We believe collective intelligence is the key to solving healthcare challenges. So we're bringing people and platforms together for 30 hours on a live brief to see just what can be achieved. It'll be frenzied. But it'll be fun. Food, drinks and snacks included.
HOW IT WORKS
Task: In 30 hours, teams must use technology to overcome an existing problem in healthcare. At the end of the deadline, each team gets five minutes to present their idea to a panel of judges. The best idea in each category wins
