Description

This training is an introduction to the Incident Command System for healthcare facilities, introduces the Incident Command System (ICS) and provides the foundation for higher level ICS training. This course describes the history, features and principles, and organizational structure of ICS. It also explains the relationship between ICS and the National Incident Management System (NIMS). This course uses the same objectives and content as other ICS courses with healthcare examples and exercises. The day will include a tabletop exercise to practice the ICS principles. *Please note, in order to receive a FEMA certificate of completion for ICS 100, 200, and 700, participants will need to complete the final exam on FEMA’s website.
