All current CFO Leadership Council members may attend this program for free. Non-member senior financial executives who are CFOs, Vice Presidents of Finance, Directors of Finance and Controllers (or the like) are welcome to attend this program for $50.

Please note that service providers or any executives who are not senior financial executives (CFOs, Vice Presidents of Finance, Controllers, Directors of Finance, etc.) cannot attend this event. The CFO Leadership Council reserves the right to decline any registration.

About our Speakers

Glenn Shooner, SVP & Practice Leader at USI Southwest

Glenn joined USI Southwest in 2000 as Vice President and Consultant. In 2010 Glenn was promoted to run the Benefits Consulting Practice for USI in North Texas, quickly making it one of the highest growth markets for USI. Since then, Glenn has actively served as a member of USI’s national strategy team. Glenn, with a team of leaders at USI, develop tactics to aid customers in understanding and mitigating the financial risk related to employee benefits plans. He also serves on the national training team by sharing his knowledge and experience to educate incoming employee benefits consultants in how to best assist their clients.

Glenn lives in Lucas with his wife and three daughters, where he serves on the board of directors of the Lovejoy Professional Network and The CFO Leadership Council.

Seth Denson, Partner at GDP Advisors, LLC

Seth Denson is the President and Co-Founder of GDP Advisors, LLC – an international consulting firm specializing in Employee Benefits and Risk Management. For the past decade, Seth and his team have created multiple strategies yielding significant reductions in the overall expense associated with both health care and health insurance purchases all the while improving the offerings within their clients’ portfolios and value of their clients organizations. Equally as impressive are the annual trends within their strategies which have yielded renewal increases averaging less than 5% per year.

Seth has extensive experience in data analytics, compliance, underwriting, risk management and benefits administration. He is a contributor to a number of national publications and is a regular public speaker throughout the United States on topics focusing on trends within the employee benefits and risk management sector.

In addition to his role at GDP Advisors, Seth serves as an advisor to a number of Private Equity and V.C. firms, and is a Board Member of Paradigm Holdings, LLC – a national captive organization that provides stop loss coverage for middle market companies.


Jason Motter, VP of Sales & Account Management at Blue Cross Blue Shield of Texas.

Jason is Sales Vice President of the North Texas Region at Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Texas, the largest provider of health benefits in the state. In this role, he leads Sales and Client Management teams that are responsible for employer groups with 151-10,000 employees.

From Dallas-Fort Worth to Lubbock to Texarkana, Motter is responsible for growth, profitability and retention, accomplished by delivering innovative solutions that meet and exceed expectations in an extremely competitive market.

Motter has a strong reputation within the health insurance industry, having spent more than 20 years in this field of work. He received a bachelor’s degree in marketing from the University of Alabama. An avid and loyal college football fan, Motter has four sons who help make football season even more enjoyable.

Melissa Kuznik, Senior Vice President, Strategic Partnerships at Pharmaceutical Strategies Group (PSG)

Melissa has more than 18 years of experience in medication management solutions, spanning managed care, clinical consulting, pharmacy benefit management consulting, and hospital and retail pharmacy. Her experience includes strategic relationship management of large payers, contract negotiations, operations, and regulatory affairs. Prior to joining PSG, Melissa served as a Senior Director for Account Management with Catamaran, providing recommendations to clients, including clinical programs, benefit design based recommendations, and rebate optimization strategies. Other past roles include Manager of Clinical Pharmacy for AvMed Health Plans, where she was responsible for clinical pharmacy services; she also served as a Staff Pharmacist for Walmart Pharmacy and CVS Pharmacy.

Melissa earned a Doctor of Pharmacy from the University of Florida. She has been an Academy of Managed Care Pharmacy (AMCP) Diplomat since 2008, serving as a managed care pharmacy resource for University of Florida College of Pharmacy students and faculty.
