SAVE THE DATE!

The Centre for Culture Ethnicity and Health (CEH) is celebrating a major milestone and you’re invited.

Health Translations, which provides vital translations to health professionals and community members, has expanded into community service topics. There are now more than 16 000 resources.

Easy English and Auslan information are also now available on the Health Translations website.

The Health Translations celebration will include guest speakers, case studies and a diverse audience, representing content partners and stakeholders e.g. Victorian Department of Health and Human Services, hospitals, health peak bodies, library networks, language schools, health networking groups, community hubs, refugee and migrant communities.

Human rights lawyer and Incubate Foundation founder, Zione Walker-Nthenda, will deliver a keynote address.

The event will be an excellent chance to build relationships with health organisations and for all participants to learn about best practices for producing translated resources.

The Health Translations expansion is an initiative of the Department of Health and Human Services, implemented by CEH.

The event is made possible through CEH’s partnership with translation and interpreting service provider Polaron.

More details to come. In the meantime, put the date in your calendar – we look forward to seeing you!
