About this event
In this online panel talk with Dr. Revati Phalkey, Dr. Kathryn Bowen and Sumegha Asthana, we will illustrate the interdependence between ecosystems, health systems and human health using the example of climate change. Using research and practice examples, participants will recognize the connection between environmental change, climate change and the increased vulnerability of marginalized groups. Finally, we would like to address possible changes due to the COVID pandemic, and the importance of a gender-specific analysis in understanding and responding to global change.

Dr. Kathryn Bowen, Professor of Environment and Society at the Australian National University in Canberra, AU
