This webinar series will explore the history of health system change and describe key drivers and trends that influence current decision making among the major players in the field (health insurance plans, employers, and clinical providers).
Webinar 4: Public health opportunities in today’s commercial health insurance landscape, will examine the landscape of private insurance and employer-sponsored health plans and highlight key considerations for insurers establishing health care benefits packages. At the end of the webinar, participants will have increased understanding of health plans’ coverage determination process. With this understanding, public health practitioners can begin to identify opportunities to collaborate with private insurers to improve health outcomes and control health care costs.
