Progression Preparation Sessions for FE Students applying to Health & Social Care Courses for September 2017.
These sessions are for students who will be applying for a Health and Social Care Course for September 2017 start date and will focus on Application and Interview Preparation.
They will be led by the Head of Recruitment along with the Lead for Undergraduate Recruitment and Admissions Tutors from the Health and Wellbeing Faculty.
By attending a session you will find out further information about the application cycle, understand in more depth about what to include in your personal statement and what to expect during the selection process.
The sessions also aim to dispel any myths and misconceptions you may have when applying to Health and Social Care courses.
Health and Social Care courses include:
- Nursing (Child/Adult/Mental Health)
- Social Work & Learning Disability Nursing
- Social Work
- Working with Children, Young People & Families
- Occupational Therapy
- Operating Department Practice
- Paramedic Practice
- Radiotherapy & Oncology
- Diagnostic Radiography
You will not be required to bring anything in particular, however you may wish to bring along a notepad and pen to take notes as the presentation will not be available after the session.
You will receive an email prior to the event with further details and a map.
Please arrive at the Heart of the Campus Building Main Reception to check in.
You also only need to attend one session, as the programme and content will be the same for each date.
