UIC Health Professions Navigator Program
The University of Illinois at Chicago Health Professions Navigator (UIC-HPN) is a collaboration between the
School of Public Health, the College of Dentistry, and the College of Medicine offering programs designed to assist underrepresented minorities, students from disadvantaged backgrounds, and veterans in successfully navigating into careers within the health professions. The goals of these programs are to increase the enrollment and retention of students from underrepresented backgrounds in the UIC health sciences colleges.
Through different campus and community partnerships, the Health Professions Navigator provides exposure to the health professions with various hands-on activities and experiences. The UIC-HPN consists of the five different programs for undergraduate and graduate students.
