Event description

Description

Students in the Department of Population Health Sciences have the opportunity to gain meaningful real world practice not only in some of the Bay Area’s best health care agencies, but also in health organizations across the nation and the globe. In place of a research-based thesis, MPH students produce an original graduate project based on the culmination of their classroom learning, fieldwork internship, and capstone synthesis that demonstrates mastery of the profession. MSHI students have the opportunity to develop a master's project, complete an internship, or write a master's thesis.

Health Professions Day showcases the students' capstone and master's projects, and we invite you to attend for student presentations and awards.

The event will be at Fromm Hall of USF:

- MPH: FR 120 Xavier Auditorium & FR 111 Broad Conference Room
- MSHI: FR 115 Berman Room

The registration opens from 8:00am to 8:30am. We will begin our presentations promptly at 8:30am and conclude with a ceremony by 12:00pm. Light breakfast and refreshement will be provided.

Free parking is available at the Koret Center garage, at the corner of Parker and Turk. Either floor is permitted. No permit required.

Please RSVP by Nov 23rd, Thursday.

If you have any concern, please contact Luwei Xie at lxie3@usfca.edu.
