Dr Shomo Knows Book Club is joining with Health is Love to host our next event!
The purpose of this event is to build community amongst book lovers who are interested in supporting people who represent diverse backgrounds. We feature books by authors who represent diverse backgrounds. We also support businesses owned by people who represent diverse backgrounds. Everyone is welcome.
Our second book feature for 2023 is Viola Davis’ Finding Me. Viola Davis is an American actress and producer. Davis is one of the few performers to have been awarded an Emmy, Grammy, Oscar, and a Tony (EGOT) award. Please note that the author will not be making an appearance at this event.
Our meeting host is the Cream + Sugar, a Black-owned, Woman-owned business. We will have light bites and drinks from Cream + Sugar.
